A net of shadows begins to tighten around the Shadowhunters of the London Institute. Mortmain plans to use his Infernal Devices, an army of pitiless automatons, to destroy the Shadowhunters. He needs only one last item to complete his plan: he needs Tessa Gray.

Charlotte Branwell, head of the London Institute, is desperate to find Mortmain before he strikes. But when Mortmain abducts Tessa, the boys who lay equal claim to her heart, Jem and Will, will do anything to save her. For though Tessa and Jem are now engaged, Will is as much in love with her as ever.

My Thoughts

As you may have noted I loved this series so much that I had to purchase the last book. Cassandra did a wonderful job on the characters in this book.  I could barely tear my self away from this book. As you all may know Jem is my favorite. He is  the sensitive, caring, stable man that every woman would want. So yes i'm Team Jem! There is plenty of action in this book and a lot of things are revealed. Cassandra does a good job tying up lose ends and and making me cry. I mean really there are so really sad parts here. It takes a lot for me to cry so congrats Cassandra. Overall I loved these books and if you are looking for a good fantasy series check this one out.
